G.I. Joe and the Monsters in MidValley!

In my previous post, I mentioned that I was going to watch The Proposal this weekend. But because I am unable to reserve tickets for that movie, plus unable to get good seats at the counter, G.I. Joe came into view.

Oh yeah. Hell yeah. G.I. Joe : Rise of the Cobra. If you haven't watched it yet, go and do so. Spoilers up ahead! Check out the trailer first.

I was a little sulky when I did not get to watch The Proposal. As usual. Sulky. For a short while. Then I'm alright. :) Movie started off real well. Filled with action. Familiar faces can be spotted throughout the movie and you will be thinking : hey! I have seen them from some other movies!

Not only actioned filled, there's also comedy inside. That's what you get when you ask one of the Wayans brothers to act. From the movie White Chicks I got to know the Wayans brothers and now I see one of them acting as Ripcord.

I tell you he's funny! *winks*

Those warheads containing the Nanomites are deadly. I say they are cool. Super! I really find that cool. So dangerous and deadly yet so cool. Bad guys made them, so obviously bad guys use them.

And with Sienna Miller acting as the Baroness,

makes the movie even hotter.

No?

Yet I think too much CGI makes the movie seem fake. Not to say it ain't good, but some parts of the movie like when they battle it out under the ocean at McCullen's place, seems a little fake. Special effects are cool, but some you can just see right through them.

Another thing which upsets me most is when SOMEBODY, don't know who is that, some fella kept kicking the back of my chair. I was like, is it me or is my chair vibrating? Seems like nobody but me nmoticed it. Damn I HATE that. It's like when you are watching a good movie then somebody comes from behind and starts kicking your chair. Damn. I was so like. F*** it. Feel like turning around and glaring into that person's eyes but. Gosh. I tahan until the end of the movie. Sigh. Was pretty upset bout it.

Cutting things short, in the end, you really would want to know what happened because the President ain't the real President no more. I bet there will be another G.I. Joe movie sequel to this! Looking forward to it!

There are monsters in Midvalley due to the sale season right now. So it's Monster Sale for MidValley!!!

On a more serious tone, ain't those monsters CUTE???!! I think they are lovely! So many different designs and colours of those cute little monsters! One even reminded me of the Alien in Toy Story!

Mini poker cards!

Had lunch at canteen and after lunch, we noticed the table next to us was playing poker. And suddenly Jonathan took his MINI poker cards out. When I say mini, it's really MINI!

And so, we started playing the usual game. "Chor Dai Di".

At least I am still updating my blog. Really. Took me don't know how long just to find that blogging feel back. But don't be happy. My finals are very near. And I mean VERY near. 4 more weeks to the end of the semester. How time flies. Really.

Price Rise.

Prices are all going up again. Besides the oil price that's going to go up to RM2 plus, this time, the prices of public transport is rising too! Well, the cabs has already raise up their starting price from RM2 to RM3. Bad. I can no longer take a cab to school on days where I start late.

Next, by 1st of September, bus fares are going up. You heard that right. I do not know how much the other buses like Metro fares are going up but I know that Rapid KL's prices are going up too. My father said this all can't be controlled no more. Anyway, for those of you who don't know anything about it yet, here's pictures I took today when I was in the bus.

Life's update.

It has nearly been a week since a lost blogged. Right?? Oh wait. It's like more than a week already. Anyway, here's a quick and short update. Since I always complain I have nothing to blog about.

Currently am busy (as you can see my mood icon on the right), with 2 assignments. For this week. Previously also working on those 2 assignments and 1 test, which I practically did not study for it. Pengajian Malaysia test. Midterm. I did not study. Nothing. Zero. Which the test was today. Screw it. 2 assignments which one is due this Friday (half done, nothing to worry) and the other which is due next Tuesday (which is 0% done. PANIC!!). Damn. So yeah. Busy but I do not seem busy. (See I even got time to blog)

I had to update. Seeing my blog so empty. Later people chase me for updates.

For the past one week, my mood have been going up, and going down. E M O. Yes. That 3 letters. Boo. >.< Attending classes as usual, but half listening and half not. In between was planning for a BBQ party on Sunday. The SJ8C's reunion. See. Helping them but not my own class. (I'm from SJ8P by the way - College) HAHAH. It was so last minute. Everything was so last minute that practically LAST MINUTE a few of us were like, what else do we need? Do we have enough food? Turns out that we don't have ice, butter and honey. I tell you, even the house don't have a can opener! O-M-G! End up have got to use the old fashion method of opening a can with an old fashioned tool.

Overall, I think it was a success. Thanks to those who helped preparing the food and all plus those who HELPED ate the food. Got home about, erm, close to midnight? Thanks to Yvonne who fetched me back. At least she did not get lost on her way home (Since she told me her sense of direction is very bad).

Well alright. time for me to get started with my stuff. Having Construction Tech 2 class tomorrow. A MUST to do the tutorial. Better get started.

Obviously every detail in the book can't go into the movie. Yet, I really think this is a let down. Have gotten a few feedbacks from friends who have watched it before me.

Me being a Harry Potter fan, went to watched the movie this afternoon. What a let down. Really. It's not as funny, interesting as it used to be. Oh no. Really. Less action maybe. Gah. Not fun.

Rating : 5/10

Unless you have watched all five previous movies or have read the book. Then go and watch it. Or you can just save your money and don't watch it.
